A quarry owned by McBreen Jenkins.

Located 5 kilometres south-east of Dargaville.

Part of a Tangihua Volcanics intrusive plug as a hard bronzite andesite at contact with argillaceous limestone.

Aegerine as inclusions in analcime, or separate dark green needles. Albite associated with analcime and tremolite as white tabular crystals. Analcime as colourless dodecahedrons to 35 mms in diameter. Chabazite as phacolite habit to 25 mms diameter. Chlorite as vug linings. Garnet (andradite) uncommon, but excellent crystals with natrolite and amphibole, ilmentite often forming hoppers, and less common magnetite. Very fine natrolite needles to 2 cms long. Reibeckite as fine hair like masses and strands. Thompsonite as radiating masses, and tremolite often associated with reibeckite and chabazite forming cotton wool type masses.
