Hot-spring type gold deposit, extending in an area of about 6 km2 between the Zaotang and Xiaoshui rivers, in the Liuhuangtang-Huangguaqing (i.e. northeast) section of the Rehai geothermal field.
The gold ore bodies occur in a NS-striking altered fracture zone as steeply dipping veins and complex veins accompanied by hydrothermal breccia. Layered silica caps, quartz veins, and stockworks penetrating into the acid leaching zone, are the main features of gold mineralization.
