A granite LCT pegmatite, Beryll-Columbite subtype that has been worked for Beryl. The pegmatite was zonated and measured 200 x 60 m. It is now exhausted. This was the main locality in the Berere Pegmatite Field and is situated 600 m NW of the village Berere, 40km NE of Tsaratanana.

The coordinates are not verified by visit at the spot.
