A large peridotite massif (Almklovdalen peridotite massif) of alpine-type ultramafic body is present in Almklovdalen. It consist of hydrated equivalents of Mg-Cr-type garnet- and spinel-bearing peridotite.
A large open pit mine /quarry at Gusdalen, Gusdal Olivine Pit (sometimes refered to as Åheim Olivine Quarry) is working on the peridotite.
