Ref.: NY State Museum Bull. Nos. 249-250, Magnetic Iron Deposits of SE NY, Clarke, John M. (Sep-Oct 1921): 44 & 97. An iron mine in magnetite ore. One of the Greenwood group of mines. Located 5 miles North of old Greenwood Furnace (no longer on maps) & southeast of Arden in Tuxedo. Host rock is hornblende gneiss.
