A small silver mine that was worked in Spanish colonial times, located 16 km east of Negro Pabellon, or 10 km NE of Morococala. Parallel veinlets of cryptocrystalline quartz with vertical dip are hosted in a small dacitic stock. The very minor occurence of proustite here was the only true proustite known in Bolivia until the early 1990s (Most so-called "proustite" from Bolivia is just unusually fresh red pyrargyrite).
