Iron mine started in 1880 (Grice, 1989).
Rocks exposed in cuts: pyroxene amphibolite, marble, para-amphibolite, paragneiss, & biotite syenite.
GPS coordinates are for the community of Coe Hill, not for the mine itself. According to Open TopoMap and ESRI Satellite images, the town hall and public works building in the locality photos (trailhead for route to the mine site) are located at 90 Wollaston Lake Road.
