A former surface Mn mine located in the NE¼NE¼ sec. 12, T1N, R15E, about 1¼ miles NNW of Copper Hill ghost town site and 4 miles N of Globe. Originally part of the old abandoned Horn Silver group. Re-discovered in 1955. Owned and operated by Louis Winn (1961).
Mineralization is ore in lenses occurring along a northeasterly trending fissure in diabase. The ore zone is 30.48 meters long, 1.83 meters wide, strikes NE and dips NW. The larger lenses reached widths of 3 feet and lengths of 10 feet or more before tapering out along the strike. The best ore was on and near the surface, the fissure diminished in size and grade with depth.
Workings are minimal at 75 feet (24.38 meters) in length and 10 feet (3.05 meters) deep.
