Hydrothermalized quartz veins up to 1.5m thick with remarkable quartz needles included in limonite geode up to 4cm large. Some Japan-law twins are also found. Quartz veins are intruded in high grade sillimanite-cordierite-graphite gneiss close to the contact zone with alpine serpentinites of Mijas Massif. The silica veins were intruded after late serpentinization of the ultramafic bodies forming chrysotile-magnetite-magnesite ores mineralization related.
