A former underground Mn mine located in sec. 2, T2S, R12E, on patented claims, about 1¼ miles SE of Superior at the base of Apache Leap, on National Forest land. Claims overlap Elm and Elm No. 1, patented claims MS 4500. Claims extend into the NE¼ of sec. 17. Owned by the Magma Copper Co. of Arizona (1961). Operated by Guzman and Schwartz Construction Co. of Arizona (1980). Additional names for this location: Mary Ann claims; Queen Gravel pit; Virginia No. 1; and the Red Cloud MS 3860 & 4550 patented claims.
