A number of quarries - active since 1902 - located SW of St. Nabor along the road to Ste. Odile. The output (around 500.000 tons per year) is used as a gravel for road construction.

"(Coming from Ottrott.) Southeast of Obernai via the D426 and past Ottrott. Quarries east of the locality and on the road to Ottrott with coloured syenite, dolomite." [Belot, 1978]
