A lead mine located near the Coya river at 1,880 to 1,935 meters elevation. There were several adits and shafts, the Rosario adit accessed a few hundred meters of underground workings. Ore was mainly carbonates (cerussite/smithsonite?) emplaced in limestone with solution cavities. (The Bola de Oro mine shaft is about 250 meters away.)
