Located 20 km south west of Wyloo. Discovered by a kangaroo shooter in the early 1970's.
The deposits comprise two distinct lenses, referred to as the Main prospect and the East prospect. The East prospect is located 2kms southeast of the Main prospect.
Main is conformable lenticular triangular body of hydrothermally altered sedimentary rocks in the core of a fold dome. The lower mineralised sequence is iron rich chert, banded iron formation, siltstone, breccia, talc, and dolomite. The upper sequence is chert, quartz-pebble schist, and conglomerate.
Mineralisation is 450 metres thick, extending 1.2 kilometres along strike, enriched with silver, arsenic, gold, bismuth, copper, mercury, lanthanium, lead, antimony, thorium, thallium, uranium, tungsten and zinc. The mineralisation is stratabound, and dominated by arsenopyrite and pyrite, with lesser pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite. Lead is represented by bindheimite. Gold is anomalous associated with chert breccia, gossan, massive talc, and ironstone.
Oxidation reaches 100 metres below the surface, with surface mineralisation dominated by un-named green arsenite minerals.
East is 2 kilometres south-east of Main. It is on the dome flank, as a linear one kilometre long zone and 400 metres stratigraphically above the Main prospect. Gossan contains secondary lead in the form of bindheimite, carminite, and philipsbornite, with scorodite. Below this by 3 metres is arsenopyrite, pyrite, pyrrhotite, boulangerite, galena, chalcopyrite, and ullmannite. Pyrite dominates at depth, with mineralisation in irregular cross cutting quartz veins, enriched with silver, arsenic, gold, copper, molybdenium, and antimony.
