Located 8 km east north east of the former Youanmi township are a series of copper, gold, nickel and zinc prospects. Located 80 kilometres south-west of Sandstone and 5 kilometres north-east of the Youanmi mine.
Located in the Youanmi Greenstone Belt, a synclinal sequence of chloritised felsic tuffaceous rocks, sulphide bearing chert, gabbros, basalt and ultramafics.
The copper-gold is found in the felsic volcanics and platinum group elements- nickel in large layers of the mafic/ultramafic intrusive complex. Marston states hosted by chert, banded iron formation, felsic pyroclastic rocks, overlying metabasalt in a major synformal structure, with intruding metagabbro and granophyre. It contains widespread low grade pyrite-pyrrhotite-magnetite-chalcopyrite, disseminated and thin massive zones.
The Just Desserts prospect contains an estimated resource of over 1 million tonnes at 1.82% copper and 0.78 g/t gold. Other prospects include YC5, YC11, YC14, Augustus and A Zone. YC14 and A Zone show massive sulphide Cu-Au. A Zone which is 1.3 kilometres north of Just Desserts also contains zinc in the upper levels and copper-gold in the lower levels of the horizon. Large widths of low grade platinum-palladium has been discovered at the Constantine prospect at 0.49 g/t Pt and Pd, and 0.22% nickel. This is associated with massive sulphides in at least two horizons of a major layered mafic/ultamafic intrusive complex with a 13 kilometre strike length.
