Located 9.5 km from Bunnawarra homestead. A few tonnes of cupreous ore was produced in 1960 and 1964. The site contains pits and a shallow open cut 3 metres wide when inspected in the mid 1970's. Explored from 1973 to 1978 by Unimin and CRA.
A 4 kilometre long gossanous horizon in steep north-west dipping laminated quartzite, garnet-quartz-sericite-chlorite schist, quartz-chlorite-garnet amphibolite, overlying strongly deformed granitoid rocks, and overlain by metadolerite and metagabbro. Two main horizons, being zinc-copper rich. Secondary copper stained quartz veins and thin mineralised zones in limonite cemented vein quartz breccia. Mineralisation includes sphalerite, pyrrhotite and minor chalcopyrite in disseminated hematite-goethite, 700 metres long by 100 metres wide.
