Slowly eroding silicified rocks, hosted by volcano-sedimentary rocks of the Vosges fault zone. In fact, the cliffs are situated onto the main fault. The strong brecciation of the rocks in this zone allows for easily tracing its course between Wattwiller and Steinbach.
Located on Hirzenstein hill, NW of Wattwiller.
