|Location uncertain. Originally described as 2 km west north west of Mount Phillips Homestead. Co-ordinates provided place it near the Ullawarra indigenous community, 150 kilometres north of the originally listed site. The geographic Mount Palgrave is some 20 kilometres north-west of the co-ordinates.|

Stratiform Zn-Cu in black carbonaceous pyritic shale. The source states there is an A and B prospect, another prospect 1, 2 and 3a. Patchy ironstone gossan contains chrysocolla, malachite, goslarite, sphalerite, and covellite in the Kiangi Creek Formation. The siltstone and shale matrix shows sphalerite associated with pyrite in veins. Near surface enrichment of stibarsen, diopside, malachite, azurite, chalcopyrite, marcasite, pyrite, covellite and sphalerite, down to 15 metres from the surface. Explored by Westfield in 1961-1967.
Prospect 3a Cu-Zn in pyritic black shale, Copper dominates the upper areas, zinc lower. Grades sporadic. Surface shows disseminated and joint fillings of malachite and azurite.
The Mindat co-ordinates mark the geographic Mount Palgrave only, which the deposit is named after.

This geological map and associated information on rock units at or nearby to the coordinates given for this locality is based on relatively small scale geological maps provided by various national Geological Surveys. This does not necessarily represent the complete geology at this locality but it gives a background for the region in which it is found.
