A former Ba(baryte) occurrence/mine located 1½ miles W of Caddo Gap.

Mineralization is bedded baryte deposit hosted in Stanley Shale. Related rocks are Arkansas novaculite of Devonian Mississippian age and Stanley shale of Mississippian and Pennsylvanian age.

Workings include surface openings comprised of open pits and cuts.
Geology: Ore body consists of six lenticular ore bodies along the strike with intermittent shale waste.
