Legrena (or Legraina) is a small cove west of the 'main' Lavrion mining district, about 2-2.5 km northwest of Cape Sounion (and the Sounion slag locality) and southeast of the town and bay of Anavyssos, which could be stated as the extreme western border of the district. A minor slag heap is located in the sea in Legrena, and a few (mostly common) slag species have been found there. However, nealite is more common here than in other slag localities along the coast.
