Locality type:

Former Ag-Pb-Zn mine, now closed and water filled. In spring 1977, "Little Joe" Weinholtzner and Ron Shiletto collected some of the world's finer polybasite and stephanite from Stope 302. There were occurrences of these iridescent crystals in other stopes, and indeed other mines in the camp, but little was saved. Some of the miners are reported to have given wives and girlfriends these iridescent crystals for buttons and brooches.
