A Pb-Ag-Au-Mn occurrence/mine located in sec. 1 & in the SE¼SE¼ sec. 2, T13N, R26E, BM, in the northern part of Texas District, at an elevation of 8,830 feet, on the crest of the ridge at the head of Sourdough Creek. Discovered in the 1880's. Major development occurred in 1942. Idle 1957-1959, renovated in 1960, idled again in 1962. Presently inaccessible.

Mineralization is a polymetallic deposit hosted in quartzite.

Workings include underground openings with development on 7 levels, including a 580 foot deep shaft with about 3,500 feet of underground workings.

Yielded about 9,000 tons of ore with an average grade of 15% Pb,0.9% Zn,0.3% Cu,13.8 ounces Ag/ton,and 0.2 ounce Au/ton.
