Quarries in the selbergite tuff series of Rieden volcano. Tuffs with different types of xenoliths (alkali basalt, phonolite, sanidinite, subvolcanite, alkali-metasomatites, carbonatite).
Located in the area between Hochstein, Sulzbusch and Gänsehals mountains, about 2.8 km NNW of Ettringen.
