Detailed Mineral List:

Albite
Formula: Na(AlSi3O8)
Albite var. Andesine
Formula: (Na,Ca)[Al(Si,Al)Si2O8]
Anorthite
Formula: Ca(Al2Si2O8)
Description: The plagioclase in the gabbro grades from labradorite (~An69) in the cores to andesine (~An39) in the rims. The close proximity of the core plagioclase composition to the labradorite-bytownite nomenclature boundary suggests that with a bit of additional searching, slightly more Ca-rich zones that would normalize to bytownite could likely be discovered.
Anorthite var. Labradorite
Formula: (Ca,Na)[Al(Al,Si)Si2O8]
Description: The plagioclase in the gabbro grades from labradorite (~An69) in the cores to andesine (~An39) in the rims. The close proximity of the core plagioclase composition to the labradorite-bytownite nomenclature boundary suggests that with a bit of additional searching, slightly more Ca-rich zones that would normalize to bytownite could likely be discovered.
Armalcolite
Formula: (Mg,Fe2+)Ti2O5
Augite
Formula: (CaxMgyFez)(Mgy1Fez1)Si2O6
Calcite
Formula: CaCO3
Cohenite
Formula: Fe3C
Copper
Formula: Cu
Fayalite
Formula: Fe2+2SiO4
Description: the olivine in the sample grades from a very Fe-rich forsterite (~Fo53) in the center of grains to low-Mg fayalite (~Fo16)in the outermost rims. Although the olivine "cores" are relatively equant, the more Fe-rich rims are wide and irregular.
Forsterite
Formula: Mg2SiO4
Graphite
Formula: C
Habit: cubic pseudomorphs; rarely rhombic dodecahedra and tetrahexahedra
Hematite
Formula: Fe2O3
Hercynite
Formula: Fe2+Al2O4
Description: Occurs as isolated grains in the gabbro and seems indicative of assimilation of argillaceous and perhaps ferruginous country rocks during emplacement.
Ilmenite
Formula: Fe2+TiO3
Description: The dominant oxide in the gabbro.
Iron
Formula: Fe
Iron var. Kamacite
Formula: (Fe,Ni)
'K Feldspar'
Description: Unclear whether this is sanidine or orthoclase, although it is high in Na (up to 0.27 apfu) and some material also contains notable Ba (0.5 wt%). Occurs as scattered anhedral grains in the gabbro and may be the result of some assimilation of argillaceous (pelitic) country rocks.
Magnetite
Formula: Fe2+Fe3+2O4
Pigeonite
Formula: (CaxMgyFez)(Mgy1Fez1)Si2O6
Description: Occurs as scattered grains in the gabbro; less abundant than the augite.
Troilite
Formula: FeS
Wüstite
Formula: FeO
