Polyakovite-(Ce)

Polyakovite-(Ce), Fluoro-richterite

Pit No. 97, Miass, Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia

Back side of the largest known polyakovite-(Ce) crystal showing conchoidal surfaces so typical for this mineral. Green fluororichterite owergrowth is well visible. Specimen size is 4.5x3x2.5 cm and its radioactivity 146 μR/h. Collected by Ivan Klochkov in 2003. Pavel M. Kartashov collection (#2103) and photo.
