I made a visit on 10.16.2013 to the Ancram Lead Mine in Ancramdale. The mine is on private property. I asked permission from the property owners. I was allowed me to take pictures of the mine and collect some specimens from the tailings pile.
The mine shaft is gated and so I stuck my camera between the wires to get some shots.
