Cluster of many radiating crystal aggregates of white pectolite crystals. The pectolite is terminated in the voids between the spherical formations. Minor green prehnite intergrown with the pectolite. No damage. Overall size of mineral specimen: 9x7x5 cm. Size of individual crystals: 1-2 cm.

Hemispherical green prehnite crystals up to 13 mm diameter with sprays of white pectolite crystals up to 11 mm long. The surface of the prehnite has minute, lustrous faces making the specimen very sparkly. Ex. John Albanese.

This specimen was collected by Chris Laskowich. Most of the Calcites from this find were etched and stained. The Calcites on this specimen are water clear and pristine in condition.

The piece is quite unique as the mineralization occurs in the triassic sandstone of the quarry and not in the basalt. A fine and colorful plate of translucent, mint-green, botryoidal "fingers" of prehnite. An excellent specimen of prehnite from this old (1986), extinct New Jersey locale. The luster is very good and the piece sparkles in good light. The two small anhydrite blades in the middle of the piece are a rare and fine accent. Older material.
