Cassiterite
Modoto, Modotin, Dornogovi Province, Mongolia
3.8 x 3.3 x 2.4 cm. This striking tetragonal cassiterite crystal, with pronounced form is lustrous, chocolate-brown with distinctive stepped-growth faces. Adding even more character is the gorgeous area of gemmy, reddish-orange fire. Ex. Herb Obodda specimen.
