1.3 x 1.0 x 1.0 cm. Northupite is a rare chlorinated carbonate found in lacustrine clay sediments, usually as octahedrons. This rare crystal, from an obscure locale, is a sharp, lustrous, translucent, pristine, mottled-brown octahedron. Seldom available in this quality.
