Covered Gould Mine shaft (February 14, 2023).
Closer view of the mine tailings with a few large, wood beams. The color of the tailings is primarily due to decomposition of sulfides resulting in various iron oxides. Pyrite particles and tiny crystals could be observed in the tailings. (February 14, 2023)
