Collins Bay, Muriwai, Auckland Region, New Zealand
Gypsum appears to be the final mineral to form in the cavities at Collins Bay, sometimes forming almost gelatinous, semi-crystalline scabs ranging from formless clear blobs to well-formed typical glassy and clear crystals, and sometimes like this example - a mixture of both.
