This photo shows an extremely fine-grained micro-agglomerate of galena (bright), sphalerite (light-grey), and bornite (pinkish-brown), in the “Mansfelder Kupferschiefer” copper shale matrix, consisting mainly of clay, calcite and quartz. Vertically reflected light digital image in air, with crossed polarizers, width 0.2 mm.
