Greenish black allluadite replacement of triphylite in albite and quartz. The alluaudite shows small patches with good cleavage and does not have a radial fibrous structure. FOV = 5 x 8 mm
Bronzey stained magnetic pyrrhotite intergrown with brassy pyrite and yellow sericite muscovite. FOV = 2 x 3 mm
White carbonate-rich apatite-(CaOH) crystal in dark brown goethite and siderite. The termination is rounded hoppered and has a pearly luster. Faint gray hexagonal color zones are present and some of the nearby crystals were etched showing radial as well as distinct sector etching. FOV = ~1.5 x ~1.5 mm
12 mm long specimen mounted in Styrofoam. P. Cristofono specimen and photo.

Wrought-iron black botryoidal cryptomelane in oxidized siderite. FOV = 3 x 5 mm
Dark green chamosite flake in brownish red almandine. FOV = 2 x 3 mm
Rose quartz (2 x 2 mm) with black sphalerite grains in light gray quartz and albite on the left and light gray triphylite along the entire right third of the field of view. Small black grains of sphalerite in the triphylite and minor vivianite stain. Because phosphorus is the coloring agent in rose quartz crystals, the occurrence offers the ...
Straw yellow needles of strunzite with red brown jahnsite on altered siderite and triphylite. FOV = ~1.5 x ~1.5 mm
Creamy white jackstraw intergrown apatite-(CaOH) crystals. FOV = 1.5 x 2.5 mm
Pale green ludlamite cleavages in gray triphylite and medium brown siderite associated with dark brown possible triploidite. FOV = 2 x 3 mm
Clear phosphophyllite crystal (~1 mm) on bladed phosphophyllite crystals with earthy blue vivianite base and inclusions making the phoaphophyllites appear blue. FOV = 2 x 3 mm. Ex Scott Soucey and Tim Blake specimen.
Medium green dusting of torbernite crystal plates on albite. FOV = 5 x 8 mm
Dark brassy yellow chalcopyrite grains (0.2 mm) in albite.
Colorless hydroxylherderite crystal on albite and pale yellow sericite muscovite. FOV = 2 x 3 mm
Pyrite crystal showing deep pyritohedral striations and with upper left corner showing a small trapezohedral corner and a few parallel trapezohedral edge striations on the central cube face. Matrix is albite and quartz. FOV = 4 x 6 mm
Purple black iridescent sphalerite grain (0.25 mm) in quartz with albite. The sphalerite is soft and brittle and will give a brown streak when crushed by a pin.
A large parallel growth beryl crystal with a crude, but intact termination. From the Lookout Quarry, Rumford, Maine. 21 x 15 x 14 cm.
This is co-owners Tim Blake & Scott Soucy drilling on the upper blast area for the first blast.
A large Columbite crystal is discovered in the floor of the lower blast site.
This is co-owner Scott Soucy looking over the upper and lower blast areas before the blast.
Co-owner Tim Blake uses the "Muck-tube", (aka....road culvert), to remove debris from the lower blast site.
This is a photo of the exposed pegmatite after we finished with the excavator.
This is the upper and lower blast areas after the blast. The pegmatite has been broken up and will now be sifted through by hand.
This photo shows a large area of Heterosite on the surface of the pegmatite that was just uncovered.
This is co-owners Tim Blake and Scott Soucy drilling for the first blast. A great view to work in front of.
This is the lower blast area after drilling is finished but before blast.
This photo shows the finished mine road, at least for now anyway.
An excavator was used to remove the stumps and top soil from off the surface of the pegmatite ledge.
An excavator was used to create a new road to the prospect's pegmatite.
