FOV=5mm, collected by and in the collection of Don & Cookie Saathoff. This specimen was collected on what I've been told are the Cramer (Kramer) mine dumps shortly after the shaft was "remediated". Establishing the Cramer mine as a seperate entity from the Commercial mine will require some research.

FOV~4mm This photo is of a small vug in a piece of rough ~7.5cm X 3cm and is what I call a micromounter's nightmare!! NO PLACE TO TRIM without destroying something else interesting!! On the piece is vanadinite, descloizite, acanthite and chlorargyrite group. Please see additional photos (child photos).
Bromargyrite nodule on a specimen given to me by Don Saathoff. Thanks, Don!! Image was processed with Zerene Stacker and Picasa 3.9 software. Photo and specimen: Steve Stuart.

Kernel of vanadinite (var. endlichite) in association with clear calcite. These lie on a carpet of orange descloizite. There is a secondary growth, probably also descloizite, on the kernel of vanadinite. FOV is about 3 mm in length. Specimen purchased from the NMT Museum in Socorro, NM. Photo and specimen: Steve Stuart.

This colorless, multi-faceted calcite sits in a vug coated with colorless hemimorphites. This piece is a gift from Joan Beyer to Michael Michayluk, it resides in his collection.
In the foreground is grey descloizite as columnar aggregates of xls; behind the descloizite is a bundle of yellow to brown vanadinite. Several of the Georgetown claims were recently purchased for the purpose of building a "cabin resort". In fact, the last time I was at the Commercial-Cramer there was a water-well drilling rig set up on the ...

closeup of orange descloizite aggregates
This image is a close-up of the columnar aggregates of descloizite in front of the vanadinite in the first image. The dis-advantage of stacking is that you tend to lose the sense of depth. These columns are about twice as high as they are thick.

Note: silver is not mindat listed for this location! Also added is a photo of most of the specimen rock. The silver wire is on the lower right side.
A few of the many bromargyrite filled vugs on a golf ball sized specimen that I split in Half. The outside of this rock showed no hint of what was on the inside!
