Diamond
Argyle Diamond Mine, Wyndham-East Kimberley Shire, Western Australia, Australia
This terrible but still useful photo is a digitized 1993 transparency, captured through a thick window at the Argyle mine. I estimate the largest crystals at 8-10 mm. The dish at the top left corner contains Ellendale diamonds. Both are remarkable for the intensity and range of colors.
