Group of prismatic crystals of Aragonite in radial growth.
According to the old label of B. Stürtz the crystals were in basalt, which suggests that it comes exactly from Dattenberg Quarry.

Sample from the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia (No. 18747)
and of the collection donated to this Institution by the merchant and collector Edward Darling Drow (1861-1919) son of the collector William Appleton Drown.
Most likely this sample actually comes from the collection of the father as indicated by the accompanying label.

It is a typical tetragonal disphenoid crystal with possible presence of tetragonal dipyramid.
It comes from the famous German dealer Wilhelm Maucher (1879-1930)

Calcite mass with the typical exfoliation and in which it is observed an alternation of dark minerals probably Aegirine and Diopside together with some Cancrinite (unconfirmed).
The sample surely comes from a Ca-Carbonatite Pegmatite. [Probably as a sample of the rock locally named as søvite pegmatite]

Specimen of Nepheline in the form of large crystals included in Albite, with the typical resinous shine (Elaeolite).
Observe the reaction edge in the form of a small pink band around the crystals formed by a mixture of several minerals probably among others Natrolite and Analcime.
