Tucson 2014 - The TGMS show

It's been just over a week since the TGMS show finished and we're finally back in the UK - so a very quick rundown of what we saw at the show with a few photos:

Crowds at the opening of the show on Thursday - busier than recent years.

Umbrellas hanging from the ceiling? Arizona's dry winter meant they weren't needed elsewhere.

The theme of the show was Diamonds, Gems, Silver and Gold. The Smithsonian display of Diamonds was the most significant display dedicated to the theme.

Bill Larson and sons put on a spectacular display of Native Silver

One of several outstanding Kongsberg Silvers in that display.

Alan Hart and Mike Rumsey from NHM UK were here to display a very old ring

The ring was owned by Hans Sloane, the founder of the British Museum.

Collector's Edge had the biggest and most impressive booth at the show.

More from their booth

And more

And more!
