3.8 x 2.5 x 0.3 cm. Argentina has provided a tremendous amount of stalactitic Rhodochrosite with a beautiful pink color banding, but rarely is the material gemmy enough for faceting as most of it is either slabbed or cabbed. With that said, this is a beautiful polished slice of Rhodochrosite from Argentina and rather gemmy when backlit as you can see in the photos. My favorite aspect of the piece is the fact that the outer "rind" is completely intact and there is actually a thin layer of Galena that separates the Rhodochrosite from the "rind".
