A large parallel growth DT calcite cluster from Sweetwater Mine. The dark, almost black color is due to various layers of chalcopyrite phantoms. These inclusions give the specimen a similar color to those collected in the Brushy Creek Mine in the 1990s, except with better luster. These specimens are very sculptural and have a level of parallel growth that makes them more spectacular than many of the older specimens I have seen.
