“Dark grey metallic kawazulite in a matrix of quartz. The kawazulite is surrounded by an undescribed amorphous BiTeO mineral. This material is very similar to the material found at the d-site, however at the e-site it occurs in quartz instead of an epidote-hematite-garnet skarn. Collected March 20, 2016. A specimen very similar to this was analyzed by SEM EDS and raman spectroscopy by Bob Housley.”
