SEM image of polished section of aluminofluoride vein mounted in epoxy wax. Crystals of Jørgensenite is the main constituent of the vein. They are light-grey in BSE with some difference in colour according to different Ba contents in different zones. Jørgensenite composition vary from (Na3.28K0.77)4.05(Sr9.38Ba3.17Mg1.17Ca0.25)13.97Al11.98(F50.35(OH)17.58)67.93 to (Na3.30K0.90)4.20(Sr11.54Ba1.51Mg0.75)13.83Al11.97(F53.76(OH)14.01)67.77 with Ba contents 15.07 and 7.04 mas.%. Associating minerals are: brigtest (in BSE) Barite and dark-grey (almost black) Weberite - both filling axial zone of the vein between Jørgensenite crystalline crusts, minor grey crystals of Muscovite are relicts of greisen matrix. Minor quartz, Bøgvadite, schorl, pyrite, galena, chalcopyrite and chalcocite also presents in the rock. Original specimen of schorl was received from OT Ljostad. Pavel M.
