A classic old-time specimen of the Huaron chalcopyrites featuring sharp, well-formed, robust, metallic, brassy colored crystals measuring up to 1.8 cm associated with thin prismatic colorless quartz "needles". A wonderful attractive miniature of this classic material. Mined circa 1970s-1980s. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#12001) with an old label from van Scriver's Minerals.
