“Crystals of löllingite to 3 cm embedded in albite var. cleavelandite and quartz matrix. Löllingite crystals are rimmed by an unidentified massive black mineral, larger masses of which contain blocky crystals of an unidentified dark brown mineral; see second photo. Original label (Gene Bearss collection) states "misnamed as arsenopyrite but no sulfur found with silver coin test" (see Messageboard discussion about "silver coin test", http://www.mindat.org/forum.php?read,100,338067,338067#msg-338067). Purchased at Maine Mineralogical & Geological Society annual auction, October 2014; Gene Bearss acquired it by trade at the Gorham swap in 1979.”
