16.8 x 5.8 x 5.1 cm. An impressive, very large and uncommon beryl crystal from the Rice Quarry. This mint-green giant is lustrous and moderately translucent. The front has a very rounded appearance. The upper termination is contacted, with very little bruising, and has embedded pearlescent muscovite plates. Ex. Robert Whitmore Collection. Weighs 1.6 pounds or 734 grams.
