Somewhat odd galena specimen from the Garpenberg Mine. Its like if someone had a saw to make a cut (6 mm wide)in the galena- leaving it filled (previously) with talc- now less talc. At arrows are some groups with very small, black crystals- which might be acanthite. Chalcopyrite occur as a rim around the circumference- perhaps mixed with a another mineral. Collection and photo AÖ 2014. Child photo show backside of specimen w a smooth surface (no cleavage from galena)and some tiny cracks w probably more acanthite crystals.
