“A choice cabinet specimen of fibrous Actinolite measuring 10 X 12.5 cm. with individual fibers reaching 15 mm. This very dense grouping of Actinolite fibers causes an undulating, chatoyant "wave" effect when rotated in the hand. The matrix consists of a thick plate of crystalline green Epidote with prismatic crystals to 4 mm, as can be seen at lower left. Minor Axinite-(Fe) and small, gemmy Albite crystals are also present on the specimen.
