SEM image of surface of Lunar regolith particle. Brightmost in BSE grain of native Niobium is covered by very thin layer of high-silica impact glass and located on the Anorthite fragment attached to particle of pyroxene of composition (Fe1.09Mg0.48Ca0.37Ti0.02Mn0.02Cr0.01)2.00[(Si1.86Al0.07Fe3+0.07)2O6.02] Ferrohypersthene of Ferropigeonite. IGEM RAS Lunar regolith collection. AVM & PMK photo and analytical data.

EDX spectrum of native Niobium from Mare Crisium. Size of Niobium particle is significantly smaller than zone of excitation under an electron beam, so in the spectrum presented peaks of elements from underlaying matrix and covering glass layer (mainly Anorthite and minor Pyroxene). But niobium peak is still enough strong. IGEM RAS Lunar regolith collection. AVM & PMK photo and analytical data.
