“15.5 x 6.5 x 2 cm. A classic Australian occurrence, this is a large opal specimen for display. Nearly covering one side of a polished slab of cross-bedded sandstone, is a lustrous and transparent, multi hued, thin seam of "boulder opal". The colors of the opal are displayed in beautiful bands of pastel apple-green and a vivid, purplish blue. Weighs 430 grams. White fluorescence.
