This mining district is a noted locality for excellent specimens of anhydrite. The cabinet sized cluster shown here is outstanding, with pale blue attractive crystals to 11 cm in length forming a 9.7 x 8.6 x 11.4 cm matrix-less cluster. Not all of the crystals show terminations, but most all of the prominent ones do. This is not unusual in large clusters of anhydrite crystals such as this one. Overall very fine.
