G., et al (2019) | El Polvorín | Miño-Boilini et al. 2019: Xen-121 in this study was recovered from the Neogene El Polvorín Formation (Poiré et al., 2005). This geological unit is part of the Neogene sedimentary cover, which lies unconformably over limestones of the Neoproterozoic Sierras Bayas Group (Poiré and Gaucher, 2009) and La Providencia Group (Arrouy et al., 2015), in the “Tandilia System” mountain range (Nágera, 1940) of Buenos Aires province.
