A 3594 - San Lorenzo Island | Durham J. W. (1950) | San Marcos | From well-bedded coarse sandstone dipping northwest, overlain by conglomerates and volcanics. About 200 ft of conglomerate and sandstone dip northwest and are capped with lava. A few fossils are found in thick-bedded sandstone interbedded between conglomerates indicating that at least part of the section is marine. | sandstone | 5.333 - 3.6 Ma Neogene |
